Obama Hears a Who?

original article written by Net Advisor

WASHINGTON DC. Over his now two terms, President Obama has insisted that he is willing to work with (Republicans) and is listening and doing what the voters want – or is he? Here we cover these questions and see what the history has shown us.

2007: Do You Hear the Voters Mr. President?

In 2007, among voters top 5 issues were:

  1. War in Iraq.
  2. The economy.
  3. Healthcare.
  4. Illegal immigration.
  5. Homeland security.

The newly elected President Obama in 2009 said (PDF), Obama’s top issues were:

  1. Stabilize the financial system.
  2. “Energy independence” (via green energy).
  3. Healthcare reform.
  4. Tax cuts for the middle-class.
  5. Reforming our educational system.

These ideas sounded good for many people, but as it turned out, it seems that these were more buzzwords and ideological concepts.

As it turns out, the financial system was propped up by massive government deficit spending and by massive FED stimulus. The other top issues, “energy independence” via failed green energy, costly healthcare reform, no tax cuts for the middle-class, and reforming our educational system (Common Core, food police) have all been disasters.

2010: Did You Hear the Voters Mr. President?

According to a 2010 CNN poll, 53 percent of the American people were “displeased” or “angry” of the passage of ACA in 2010 or as dubbed, “Obamacare.” Another poll showed 75 percent of the American public was angry at the government’s (Obama Democrat’s) current policies.

In 2010, voters top 5 issues were:

  1. The economy.
  2. Healthcare.
  3. Unemployment.
  4. Government deficit.
  5. Terrorism.

Note: Environmental issues was at the bottom, and ‘immigration reform’ was not even on the list.

Apparently President Obama and like-minded Democrats were not listening to the American people.

By November 2010, just two years after Obama took office with total Democrat control of the House and Senate, voters sent a new message, and voted out 60 Democrats giving control of the U.S. House to Republicans. The number of legislative seats gained by Republicans in Nov. 2010 was also the largest since 1928. The U.S. Senate was still controlled by Democrats.

After losing the House in 2010, President Obama said he’d find common ground and work with Republicans on key issues, and Obama would listen to suggestions on ‘reforms.’ The idea of working with or listening to House Republicans didn’t happen after the TV cameras left.

President Obama managed to pull a victory in 2012 for a second term. Many Americans seemed to give him a second chance, even though most didn’t like his style of reforms.

By 2013, both President Obama and Senate Majority Whip Harry Reid (D-Nev.) threatened a shutdown of the government if Republicans didn’t do what they wanted.

A partial shutdown occurred, and many incorrectly blamed Republicans when Senator Reid had been blocking bi-partisan bills passed by the House, including paying government employees during the shutdown. Senator Reid has been blocking some 350 pieces of legislation from the Republican controlled House ever since.

2014: Did You Really Hear the Voters Mr. President?

In 2014, voters top 5 issues were:

  1. Jobs.
  2. Healthcare.
  3. Government deficit.
  4. Education.
  5. Terrorism.

These were the top issues before immigration appears into the picture. These are also substantially most of the same unresolved issues voters had in 2010.

However, the top five voter concerns where apparently not President Obama’s top concerns. President Obama argued and argued for new anti-global warming/ climate change policies, which was not even on the list as a voter concern in 2014.

President Obama:

None of these things President Obama pushed for were things that the majority of voters polled asked for.

The Attack on the Nuns?

Obama had repeatedly exceeded his authority by altering a law (ACA 2010: “Obamacare”) at least 27 times (PDF). Under the U.S. Constitution, Article I, only Congress can write (or change) laws. We now know the entire Obamacare healthcare law was intended to deceive Americans as the chief architect of the law admitted on video.

The Obama Administration apparently so bent on enforcing their version of political will, they  attack nuns by bringing a lawsuit trying to block their religious freedom, and force nuns to provide birth control to their employees.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) threatened to sue Obama (PDF) in court for exceeding his Presidential authority. Obama said, “So sue me” (PDF).

President Obama is not interested in what voters want, he is more interested in what he thinks non-voters want:

Voter’s Message

The message voters sent in the November 2014 elections is clear. Voters do not want any more of Obama’s self-serving costly ideological policies. Obama’s Left-Democrat party lost control of the U.S. Senate and lost even more control in the U.S. House.

On a state level, Americans voted for more Republican State Legislators than Democrats with about 68 percent of state legislators now in the hands of Republicans.

The 2014 election also put more Republican governors in charges of states than at any time in the last 20 years.

“The 2014 general election resulted in sweeping gains for Republicans at the federal and state levels, up and down the ballot. Republicans took control of the U.S. Senate while broadening their existing majority in the U.S. House.

There will be more Republican governors than at any point in the past 20 years while 11 legislative chambers flipped for Republicans. Republicans now have more than three times as many trifectas as Democrats. “

In December 2013, a Gallup poll showed Americans were fed up with incompetence, more incompetence in ‘big government’ policies. By summer 2014, a Quinnipiac University national survey showed that ‘Obama was the worst president in 70 years.’ Voters even wished a “do over” if the Presidential election were held July 2014.

By November 2014 Midterm elections, voters sent a clear message: They had enough of ideological and unilateral policies that are not in American’s best interests.

The Other Message?

Repeating his same 2010 message, ‘I’ll work to find common ground with Republicans,’ President Obama said post Midterms 2014 that he’s got the message from voters. However Obama is under the impression he also got a message from non voters too? President Obama’s speech (video above) was more focused on those who didn’t vote. Obama thinks he knows what ‘they’ (non-voters) want, and of course Obama knows it it’s exactly what Obama wants?

To magically know what 210 million people (2/3rds of USA’s current population) are thinking is something that only this President seems to know – and perfectly?

What’s must be even more impressive, is a number of these people include infants – who haven’t learned to speak yet, toddlers, and teens under 18 who can’t legally vote yet anyway. However President Obama hears them and knows that they are thinking? It’s also good to know that we have someone in office who can also hear things in the 337 languages spoken in the United States.

Putting the deserved sarcasm aside, the question is, will President Obama now listen to the VOTERS, or will he act as a one-man government? Based on six years of Obama’s history, we should already know that answer.
